I started Fanning Bookkeeping to combine two things I really care about: helping people, and solving financial problems.

My goal is simple: to help you make better financial and business decisions, and free you from the bookkeeping tasks that eat up your time without moving your business forward.

I'm a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and hold an MBA — but honestly, what matters most to you is this: I care about your business like it's my own.

After two decades in high-tech marketing, I traded conference rooms, business travel and multiple cross-country moves for a home based remote bookkeeping business. These days, when I'm not working with clients, you'll find me finishing advanced QuickBooks and Payroll certifications, following how AI is reshaping small business finance, learning to use new AI tools, and enjoying a quieter pace of life with my husband.

I began my career in marketing and sales for small and mid-size retail, consulting, healthcare & insurance software firms. I spent the last two decades in high-tech marketing at EMC, Dell, HP, and Thomson Reuters — building go-to-market strategies, managing partners, and translating complex technology solutions into plans that actually drove business results. This background means that I understand business owners from more angles than just the numbers. I know what it's like to manage budgets, forecasts, hit targets, and to make a business case to the people who control the purse strings.
